Rhapsody has been crowned a double award winner at the PPA Production and Environment Awards 2013, taking the prize for Pre-media Company of the Year, and Best Use of Technology to Enhance the Magazine Production Process.
The annual PPA awards, which are dedicated to upholding and celebrating excellence in magazine production, were voted for by a panel of judges from the UK’s leading publishing companies.
Rhapsody wins Pre-media Company of the Year following a year of strong growth and the rebranding of the business in late 2011. The second award of the night, Best Use of Technology to Enhance the Magazine Production Process, recognises the Emagine Production System, which has surpassed over 3500 users in the magazine industry, and enables publishers to use one single system to publish magazine brands across print, tablet and app devices.
The judges in the Pre-media Company of the Year award said:
“The team was praised for its speedy response to client requests and ability to meet publishers’ needs – a versatile approach that allied to clearly presented work, made for a winning combination.”
The judges in the Best Use of Technology award said:
“The Emagine product from Rhapsody has evolved to meet the changing landscape of the publishing industry. It is a multi-platform system that has been excellently delivered in response to customers needs.”
